摘要: The electrospun trimethylated chitosan (TMC)-loaded polyvinyl alcohol (PVAl) ultrafine fibers with diameters of 70–175 nm were successfully coated on nitrile gloves. produced using aqueous TMC mixed PVAl solutions a fiber collection distance set at 12 cm. applied electrical voltages (12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 kV) the ratios between (2:10 4:8 % w/v) varied. It was found that they did not affect diameter fibers, but uniformity fibers. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images revealed only condition giving uniform 4 w/v blended 8 spinning mixture voltage 16 kV. fiber-coated gloves showed antimicrobial characteristics against Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacterbaumannii) yeast (Candida albicans), improved surface roughness from 429 to 511 μm2, enhanced wettability.
