摘要: Land surface albedo is an important variable in General Circulation Models (GCMs). When land cover modified through anthropogenic use, changes land-surface may produce atmospheric subsidence and reduction of rainfall. In this study we examined time series their relationships with rainfall, cover, population West Africa. This particular region was selected because it has become a focal point debates over biophysical impacts desertification deforestation. Our analyses revealed that rainfall were related only modestly at short scales (monthly annual) mean annual values remained relatively stable from 1982–1989 widerange climatic vegetation zones The relationship between long-term strong curvilinear(r2 = 0.802). same true for the betweenpercent tree (r2 0.659). These results suggest climate patterns, which control type canopy structure, have greater influence on than short-term fluctuations reinforce other recent studies based satellite data questioned extent pervasiveness
