摘要: Previous research illustrates the lack of services and provision for needs migrant children; assessments in early stage their arrival into UK have previously been advocated. This paper reports on a qualitative study with officials agencies working children at port entry. Along sense isolation fragmentation between those involved this work, there were clear tensions safeguarding agendas practices involved. Analysis interviews social workers police officers suggests that was confidence trust multi-agency approaches to entering UK. Assessment tend be risk orientated expense being culturally attuned children’s rights focused. These findings are discussed together recommendations further research.
