摘要: Homeobox protein Hox-C8 (HOXC8) is a member of Hox family. It expressed in the dermal papilla skin and thought to be associated with hair inductive capacity cells. In present study, we isolated characterized full-length open reading frame HOXC8 cDNA from tissue Liaoning cashmere goat, as well as, established phylogenetic relationship goat that other species. Also, investigated effect methylation status exon 1 at anagen secondary follicle on fiber traits goat. The sequence analysis indicated obtained was 1134-bp length containing complete ORF 729-bp. encoded peptide 242 amino acid residues length. structural contained typical homeobox domain. revealed Capra hircus had closer genetic Ovis aries, followed by Bos Taurus Bubalus bubalis. suggested degree might involved regulating growth Our results provide new evidence for understanding molecular evolutionary characteristics further insight into role regulates
