摘要: Abstract It is well known that the pregnant patient requires less anesthetic agent for induction of spinal anesthesia than does nonpregnant patient. The purpose this study was to demonstrate compression inferior vena cava by uterus or an abdominal binder causes engorgement vertebral venous system, which in turn decreases capacity subarachnoid space fluid. Therefore, a smaller quantity would be required induce anesthesia. A administered under standard conditions 20 patients, 15 patients at term, and whom pressure artificially increased approximately 250 mm. water. results indicated increase decreased requirement
