摘要: Phlebotomus caucasicus Marzinovsky and mongolensis Sinton are morphologically similar sand fly species. Finding a reliable, fast, simple method to differentiate these two flies is important in understanding their role the transmission of Leishmania parasite. In our study, 20 specimens male P. caucasicus, 4 mongolensis, 16 female both species (Caucasicus group) were examined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The result shows identical patterns with visible fragment about 500 bp size. restriction length polymorphism (RFLP), we observed TasI used as enzyme. After alignment sequences ITS2 partial gene GenBank, perfect match was obtained for but not whose sequence present GenBank. Based on results RFLP-PCR nucleotide rapid reliable differentiating
