摘要: Cones are a very rare form of supramolecular self-assembly. It is shown that mixing an unsymmetrical bola-fatty acid and diamine (catanionic system) in dilute solutions can produce aggregates having conical shape. These assemblies made frozen monolayers which bolas arranged on regular hexagonal lattice. stabilized by the introduction pentagonal or n-gonal defects bola-lattice yields quantification cone apex angle according to Euler theorems. The formation cones represents novel route for lipid surfactant systems minimize edge energy flat membrane.
