摘要: The diet of some sympatric carnivore species in three Atlantic Forest remnants Southern Brazil was studied order to assess their food niche. We conducted monthly field trips between February 2003 and January 2004 collect fecal samples that were subsequently examined together with others collected sporadically November 1994 2003. Of the 416 analysed, 198 had "author" identified through microscopic analysis guard hairs, which revealed presence 10 carnivores information about diet. Puma yagouaroundi largest dietary niche breadth, whereas Leopardus tigrinus Nasua nasua showed lowest values. Extensive overlap observed L. N. nasua, wiedii, pardalis. Data presented here not only increases understanding feeding ecology, but also contributes towards conservation study region other fragmented landscapes neighboring countries.
