Electrospun synthesis and electrochemical property of zinc ferrite nanofibers

摘要: In this study, zinc ferrite (ZnFe2O4) nanofibers were successfully fabricated by a combination of electrospinning and calcination process. Only peaks ZnFe2O4 could be observed from X-ray diffractometry patterns, indicating that the formation pure compound. SEM TEM images showed possessed good continuous fiber morphology with an average diameter about 150 nm. Moreover, lithium storage properties test obviously improved electrochemical properties. It is demonstrated electrode not only deliver high initial discharge capacity around 1248 mAh g−1, but also maintained stable 625 mAh g−1 after 50 cycles. Meanwhile, electrodes at higher charge rate. The excellent may attributed to crystallinity, as well unique mesoporous fibrous structures. addition, Zn product formed conversion reaction further react form ZnLix alloy, which contribute additional capacity.
