摘要: A method and apparatus (10) for cursive script recognition employs an intermediate words description language constructed of elements in the form metastrokes wherein each is a member metric space, space being expressible as matrix likelihood matching between input predefined forming vocabulary. Typically, minimum twenty used to vocabulary or set allowable stroke elemental shapes (24), although many seventy may be used, with correlation factor measurement similarity defined strings (20). Techniques interpreting include substituting, adding, deleting sequence, measuring comparing entries dictionary metastroke sequences varients sequences. Weighting penalties lack similarity.
