摘要: Adrenal tumors accidently detected by CT scan are increasingly seen in patients without clinical signs of adrenal diseases. We studied whether enhanced stimulation is importance the development tumors. For this purpose 22 with adrenogenital syndrome (AGS) were scan. One these suffered from C-11β-hydroxylase-, one C-3β-hydroxy steroid dehydrogenase-, and 20 C-21-hydroxylase deficiency. The average size was 506±79 mm2 as compared to 132±8 controls (P<0.001). Only two late onset form revealed glands normal size. There a significant correlation between patients' age (P<0.01). Females simple virilizing larger than those (640±169 vs 308±56 mm2). Eighteen AGS exhibited (n=11) or several (n=7) tumors, which 5–9 mm diameter 9, 10–20 7, more 50 2 patients. hyperplasia tumor No found plasma concentrations testosterone 17-hydroxyprogesterone, at time diagnosis, androgenization. Again, females suffering (14.8±5.5 7.7±0.8 mm). Our investigations show that almost regularly (82%) AGS. Incidence appear correlate degree well duration stimulation. As benign, it suggested case accidental detection silent an should be excluded endocrinological tests.
