摘要: The formation of one-dimensional structures on nanoscale is one the main goals modern nanotechnology. aim these efforts to find conductive long molecules that could serve as molecular wires in nanocircuits. In recent years, electrical conductivity several organic and metal-organic systems has been studied this end. principle, DNA most attractive for wire owing its well-known self-assembly chemistry controllable structural diversity. However, ability conduct electricity still controversial. binding metal ions seems be a suitable method improving conductivity. Therefore, some studies were carried out with so-called M-DNA an alternative increase DNA. We have selected 1D-coordination polymer [Cd(6-MP–)2]n (6-MP– = 6-mercaptopurinate) feasible model providing basic information about properties M-DNA.Work coordination revealed aspects concerning systematic search new adsorption methods polymers surfaces, their morphological physical characterization, opened playground study potential wires. microreview, we focus description dealing isolation single chains from crystals supramolecules, different pathways obtain assemblies are also described. Methodologies characterization techniques illustrated results obtained polymers.(© Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2009)
