摘要: Effects of flame treatment on polyethylene (PE) surfaces have been studied using contact-angle measurements, attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy (ATR-IR), X-ray photoelectron (XPS), and an adhesion test. A significantly higher level surface oxidation was induced by PE than polypropylene (PP) under a given set conditions, unlike the case PP is not confined to XPS sampling depth polymer even for mild treatment.
