摘要: We assessed the midterm outcomes of 2 types open surgical repair for type B dissecting aortic aneurysm (BDA). During last 4 years, 86 patients with BDA (mean age, 68.5 ± 9.8 years; range: 41-87 years) underwent repair. The average duration between dissection onset and surgery was 51.5 31.3 months. If patent false lumen or extended a long segment, descending thoracoabdominal performed left thoracotomy. closed thrombosed located around distal arch, stent implantation our unique technique using circulatory arrest rectal temperature 28°C without any cerebral perfusion. Left thoracotomy in 68 patients. durations clamping cardiopulmonary bypass were 65.2 16.9 78.5 34.6 minutes, respectively. Open 18 19.1 5.1 86.2 17.8 In present study, (4.7%) required reexploration bleeding 1 patient (1.2%) had stroke, but none suffered paraplegia. hospital mortality rate 1.2% (1 patient), resulting from retrograde A dissection. actuarial event-free survival rate, including operative death, 96.4% at 3 years. Both procedures relatively safe, favorable early outcomes, may be superior avoiding neurologic complications.
