摘要: With tourism and hospitality representing the largest economic sector in world1 over 4.8 million rooms accommodation establishments U.S. alone2, hotel cleaners comprise a significant occupational segment. Regardless of geographic variation, are predominantly women, immigrants, minorities working under adverse conditions such as long hours, ergonomic strain, chemical exposure, poor pay, low job control, insecurity, wide array other physical mental health risks.3-5 Such exposure has produced disproportionately high disparities among service occupations, including repetitive strain injury, musculoskeletal disorders, allergies, psychological distress; both highly underserved understudied an segment.6-8 In this paper, we will provide overview plethora work hazards encountered by propose effective measures to reduce these order improve cleaners’ safety health.
