摘要: An improved apparatus and method for encapsulating a single large MOV is shown. The sandwiched between aluminum contact plates. epoxy fills the void space A dielectric film encapsulates entire sandwich. Soft films of foil or deposition coating used to cover surface cure facial defects. optional exterior case protects assemblies contained therein from short circuits due dirt, grease water build-up. designed withstand over 100,000 amps surge in commercial up 220 volt per phase secondary power system.
