Design and Implementation of SCTP Video Streaming Hot-plug between Wired and Wireless Networks∗

摘要: Video streaming hot-plug is defined as keeping video to be continuous when a host switched from wired/wireless wireless/wired networks. Using the SCTP (Stream Transmission Control Protocol)-based mechanism proposed in this paper, user can actively trigger path switching (i) wired link wireless he going move around and (ii) back fixed place. In way, SCTP’s default for switching, which passively invoked packet loss becomes huge corresponding overhead very long, not used. Consequently, service will broken still kept pulls out network wire.
