Barriers to Distance Learning in Web Accessibility for Persons with Blindness and Visual Impairment.

摘要: Browsers and search engines are essential tools for retrieving information in distance learning but this technology is still a challenge blind visually impaired persons. Deciding to read or not page often requires the listening an abundance of undesired information. While sighted people have ability filter fast non sequential way, persons rely on that process way. Learning slowed down by screen readers which do interact well with web pages. In paper we introduce WAVES, tool retrieval people. WAVES uses visual cues query content scan pages produce excerpt helps user decide if worth reading. Data from webpage presented reader concise sorted-by-weight format.
