Effect of axial index dip on the characteristics of broadband dispersion compensating optical fiber

摘要: The experimental studies of the characteristics dispersion compensating optical fiber (DCF) with reference to its axial index dip have been reported. DCF such as chromatic dispersion, slope, mode field diameter, bending loss and cut-off wavelength altered due in DCF. This work is useful for communications.
