摘要: Abstract Experimental campaigns carried out in the past showed that presence of truss bed-joint reinforcement provides a general improvement to performance masonry panels subjected horizontal actions. The truss-like elements are effective improving resistance and reducing damage and, therefore, they enhance displacement capacity. experimental tests available literature, performed on prototypes different scale or small number compared possible combinations slenderness, axial load boundary conditions, hardly allow drawing quantitative conclusions real benefit for specific type. campaign presented this paper includes set in-plane cyclic Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) with thin vertical joints filled layer mortar, made both unreinforced reinforced flat-truss reinforcement. direct comparison results, along wallettes two construction technologies, allows assessment effectiveness enhancing seismic AAC masonry.
