摘要: Abstract A unidirectional low-cost broadband high gain circularly polarized (CP) cylindrical loop-monopole composite antenna is presented for a navigation system, satellite GPS (1.575 GHz) and GLONASS (1.602 GHz) bands. The has simple structure with coaxial feeding, used to achieve circular polarization an orthogonal shorting strip. proposed designed by metal no external feeding network used, so less in cost low complexity. An optimized measured, the measured results agree well simulated results. show good performance of impendence bandwidth (IBW) approximately 58.8% (1.2–2.2) GHz 3-dB axial-ratio (ARBW) 18.5% (1.45–1.75 GHz). Moreover, broadside stable almost constant average value 9.5 dBi than 0.3 dB variation within 3 dB ARBW. mathematical analysis resonance frequency also studied loop monopole radiators.
