摘要: Abstract Factors potentially associated with adult-onset diabetes mellitus in the elderly, were reviewed, using Framingham Heart Study data and other population data. Incidence for elderly are sparse, but they indicate that prevalence of increases greatly age. Prevalence rates commonly exceeded 10 percent those over age 60. Men women who overweight by more than 40 had twice compared normal weight. Hypertension coexistent vascular disease particularly common diabetic patients, markedly greater found among younger patients.
