摘要: This article examines a recent history of criminal justice reform to responses the investigation rape offences. Beginning with selective overview professional development detectives and criticisms relating „low status‟ crimes this points challenges in professionalization context investigative marginalised victims. The paper goes on outline police evaluations initiatives aimed at improving effectiveness before summarising complexities vulnerabilities faced by victims how these experiences impact upon likelihood successful prosecution.
