摘要: We have compared nucleotide sequences of corresponding segments the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) molecules Drosophila yakuba and melanogaster, which contain genes for six proteins seven tRNAs. The overall frequency substitution between these protein is 7.2%. As was found mtDNAs from closely related mammals, most substitutions (86%) in do not result an amino acid replacement. However, frequencies transitions transversions are approximately equal mtDNAs, contrast to vast excess over mammalian mtDNAs. In C ↔ T per codon third position 2.5 times greater among codons two-codon families than four-codon families; this contrary hypothesis that silent neutral regard selection. 4.6 more frequent A account 86% all transversions. Ninety-four percent mtDNA analyzed end or T. as alone cannot observed high there must be either a disproportionately rate mutation selection bias products mutation.—Consideration interchange AGA AGT D. melanogaster provides strong support view specifies serine genetic code.
