摘要: Studies were made on temperature regulation of lambs in a closed circuit indirect calorimeter. Dry new-born able to maintain normal body ambient temperatures as low -5°C. This was accomplished by increasing heat production 2–3 times "basal" levels, apparently increased oxidation fats, and reducing loss through the extremities vasoconstriction. The lower limit zone thermal neutrality about 29°C. In unsuckled within 24 hr birth, produced response cold appeared be independent pre-natal nutrition age.
