摘要: A genome-wide association study (GWAS) was performed on the intramuscular fat percentage in pork chops commercially available swine Canada. The Duroc, Iberian, Lacombe, Berkshire, and Pietrain breeds were crossed with Large White sows, their F1 offspring ranked according to (IMF %) obtained longissimus dorsi (LD) muscle loin chops. ideal IMF % is considered be >3%, whereas average ~1.5% North American pork. genetics of top 10% bottom from our sample population analysed by using 80,000 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) microarrays GWAS. Our had an 2.5 ± 0.7%, but some achieved >7% IMF. GWAS analysis revealed SNP markers which associated highest marbled chromosomes 5, 7, 16. Using Sus scrofa/ susScr 11.1 map, we determined that nearest genes sarcospan (SSPN), Rh-associated glycoprotein (RHAG), EGF-like fibronectin laminin G (EGFLAM), can linked muscular dystrophy disorders. We tested a subpopulation Duroc-sired animals found different set close glycine receptor beta (GRLB) potassium channel 3 (KCNJ3) 8 15. Based results, could achieve good >4% bred raised standard market weights 110 kg. choice obtaining marbling line pigs not necessarily breed-specific, it line-specific.
