Phase Retrieval at Millimetre and Submillimetre Wavelengths using a Gaussian-Beam Formalism

摘要: In this paper, we present a technique for recovering the complex mode coefficients of propagating beam from intensity measurements alone. Such is important experimentally characterising behaviour millimetre and submillimetre-wave optical systems. We describe phase-retrieval method, based on Gaussian-mode formalism, which suitable analysing cylindrically symmetric systems; can easily be extended to cover asymmetric validate basic procedure by number different simulated amplitude distributions.
