摘要: Arabian horses were selected for metabolic efficiency, beauty, efficiency and endurance. Therefore, Bedouins have centuries traced their prized horses' ancestries. With the establishment of World Horse Organization (WAHO), registration became centralized countries worldwide registered them in its database. Most existing Oman today imported after 1970s are predominantly flat-racing Arabians. This work aimed at revealing genetic background diversity Omani by comparing with from a diverse background. To that end, we genotyped 63 randomly sampled using Illumina Equine SNP70. For comparison, SNP genotypes 12 Saudi horses, 27 French, 77 Egyptian, 11 Polish 36 US Arabians included study. We additionally 17 Thoroughbred 21 representing large small breeds as an outgroup. Our MDS analysis phylogenetic showed cluster primarily French few clustering within Polish/US The horse was closest to horses. Amongst plink average genomic inbreeding levels highest Egyptian (0.169) followed (0.137) lowest -0.041 -0.079 respectively. our knowledge, this is first report on Oman. results demonstrated definite subpopulation structure among information should advise future decision-making breeding.
