摘要: Abdominal pregnancy is a rare condition that accounts for only 1% of all ectopic pregnancies but results in high maternal morbidity and mortality. We present case abdominal with massive peritoneal bleeding successfully treated using systemic methotrexate (MTX). A 34-year-old woman amenorrhea 8 weeks positive test was referred evaluation pregnancy. Transvaginal ultrasonographic scan showed gestational sac measuring 25 mm diameter containing viable embryo the cul-de-sac considerable amount free fluid patient's lower abdomen pelvis. Laboratory parameters her hemoglobin concentration 5.8 g/dl serum human chorionic gonadotropin 13,195 mIU/ml. Emergency surgery revealed an intra-abdominal hemorrhage. After hemostasis procedure, patient MTX. also review cases MTX at our institution over 10 years. Systemic treatment safe effective makes it possible to avoid risk excessive by surgical resection implantation site.
