摘要: Sugar amino acids and their oligomers, known as carbopeptoids, are commonly studied foldamers. However, study of conformational preference is often challenging when the adopted conformations extended and/or disordered. This first to explore disordered nature such carbopeptoids by utilizing a family 2,5-trans carbopeptoids. An array spectroscopic techniques has been used investigate these using this data alone it not possible assign an ordered conformation or closely related conformations. Computational methods need be employed achieve reliable interpretation data. Chirality, 2008. © 2008 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
