European Islam and reform: a comparative study of the theologies of Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Tariq Ramadan

摘要: This study investigates Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s and Tariq Ramadan’s conceptualizations of European Islam centering on three thematic issues: “European-Muslim” identity the role Muslims in Europe, reform pertaining to fiqh Islamic ethics, question incompatibility Sharia with cultural system.
