摘要: Differential cross sections and angular distributions of ions formed by dissociative electron attachment in HBr have been obtained, means a modified crossed-beam impact spectrometer, the 5-10 eV energy range. The yields H- associated with both Br(2P32/) Br(2P12/) atoms exhibit two peaks range 5-7 7-10 eV, respectively. first an distribution characteristic d sigma wave indicating that this are via 2 Sigma HBr- resonant state. For higher pi waves agreement Pi states. peak shows non-diabatic transition from 1/2HBr- state to H-+Br(2P12/) dissociation limit which is due strong dynamical (d/dR) coupling between Omega =1/2 HBr-1 This occurs at large internuclear separation Br fragments as shown ions. A d/dR calculation does not account for experimentally measured branching ratios.
