摘要: A spatial heterodyne Raman spectrometer (SHRS) is evaluated for stand-off measurements in ambient light conditions using both ultraviolet (UV) and visible pulsed lasers with a gated ICCD detector. The wide acceptance angle of the SHRS simplifies optical coupling to telescope does not require precise laser focusing or positioning on sample. If beam wanders loses focus sample, as long it field view SHRS, signal will still be collected. overly susceptible vibrations, vibration isolated table was necessary these measurements. system performance assessed by measuring UV spectra variety materials at distances up 18 m, 266 nm 532 nm lasers, 12.4 in. 3.8 aperture telescopes, respectively.
