摘要: Abstract The role of humidity in the hydrogenation 2-ethyl-9,10-anthraquinone (eAQ) and especially further transformation 2-ethylanthracen-9,10-diol (eAQH 2 ) primary desirable product formed on eAQ was studied. Three 0.5% Pd/SiO catalysts differing content Na CO 3 thus alkaline properties were used. They obtained by successive removing from catalyst prepared precipitation palladium hydroxide onto pre-impregnated SiO . Hydrogenation experiments carried out “standard” subsequently “wet” systems at 62 °C, atmospheric pressure H mixture 2-octanol–xylene (1:1) as solvent. Humidity influences whole process, fundamental reaction, to eAQH (quinone–hydroquinone stage) A complicated effect is observed. has an consecutive reactions transforming via OXO-tautomer intermediate 2-ethyl-9,10-dihydro-9,10-dihydroxyanthracene (INT), precursor 2-ethylanthrone (eAN). influence varies depending their properties. observed effects are correlated with adsorption configuration reagents INT. Highly medium well facilitated carbonyl group—bonded enhancing hydrogenolytic formation eAN.
