摘要: The availability of computerized lexicons, thesauri and "ontologies" –we discuss this termi nology– makes it possible to formalize semantic aspects information as used in the analysis, design implementation systems (and fact general software systems) new useful ways. We survey a selection relevant ongoing work, different issues semantics that arise, characterize resulting systems, called CLASS for Computer-Lexicon Assisted Software Systems. need "global" common ontology (lexicon, thesaurus) is conjectured, some desirable properties are proposed. give few examples such CLASS-s indicate avenues current future research area. In particular, certain problems can be identified with well-known existing lexicons CYC WordNet, well sophisticated representationand inference engines KIF or SHOE. argue nevertheless large public should simple, i.e. their become implicit by agreement among "all" users, ideally completely application independent. short, lexicon thesaurus then becomes domain
