摘要: The population of the United States is expected to increase approximately 270 million in year 2000 with senior citizens constituting fastest growing segment (1). In 1900, people 65 years age or older comprised just 4% population; 1930 this percentage was about 5%, and currently over has increased 12%. According projections by there will be almost 35 Americans making up 15% entire (Figure 1).
