摘要: The assimilation of GPS radio occultations within the three-dimensional variational data system German Weather Service requires occultation bending angle forward operators. To optimize operator setup, different one- and operators are evaluated. innovation statistics for from CHAMP, GRACE-A FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC satellites compared with estimates based on background observation errors specified in scheme. Numerical experiments performed to assess impact assimilated weather forecast scores.
