摘要: We demonstrate active shaping of the driving electrical pulses to a laser diode in order compensate for pulse effects gain saturation an Yb doped fiber amplifier cascade and allow generation user defined customized output shapes. In particular we square pulses, which have potential significantly increase maximum energy extractable from before peak power reaches threshold SRS, high efficiency frequency conversion.
