Frequency stabilization of dual-mode microchip laser by means of beat frequency stabilization

摘要: The stabilization of the laser oscillation frequency a dual-mode microchip was demonstrated by stabilizing beat generated two simultaneously oscillating longitudinal modes. In experiment, 101 GHz stabilized to ± 50 kHz using negative feedback control. As result, fluctuation finally to ± 50 MHz or less within resolution measurement instrument with an estimated short-term of ± 3.3 MHz. Furthermore, this technique, initial drift significantly reduced, and linear sweep operation successfully linearly sweeping over 30 MHz while maintaining locking. Our technique is essentially robust suitable for miniaturization system in future.
