摘要: Microbial pathogens including Enterobacteriaceae family members bear different antibiotic resistance genes comprising Extended-Spectrum-s-Lactamases (ESBLs) and Metallo-s-Lactamases (MBLs) on their chromosomes mobile genetic elements such as plasmids transposons. Because of the clinical concern regarding MBLs in global public healthcare system, this review focuses characteristics MBLs. For preparing article, databases, websites search engines MEDLINE, SCOPUS, SCIENCEDIRECT GOOGLE SCHOLAR were searched via MeSH keywords Enterobacteriaceae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, MBL Bioinformatics.
