摘要: OBJECTIVE To identify the incidence of left heart abnormalities in patients with Ebstein anomaly, recognizing that left-sided lesions this patient group have been overlooked. PATIENTS AND METHODS According to echocardiography database at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minn, 106 consecutive anomaly underwent between July 1, 2001, and February 28, 2003. Clinical data as well electrocardiographic echocardiographic reports images were reviewed. RESULTS was severe 76 (72%). Previous tricuspid valve surgery reported 46 (43%), previous closure an atrial septal defect or patent foramen ovale 34 (32%). Left ventricular (LV) myocardial changes resembling noncompaction occurred 19 (17.9%), LV systolic dysfunction 7 (7%), diastolic (36%) 95 patients, dilatation 4 (4%). Additional cardiac included mitral prolapse 16 (15%), bicuspid aortic 8 (8%), dysplasia (4%), (8%). Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome 22 (21%). The QRS axis tended be different a mean ± SD 12° 74° vs 36° 66° overall ( P =.08). Otherwise, there no differences clinical surgical groups normal abnormal myocardium. CONCLUSIONS In involving myocardium valves observed 39% patients. should not regarded disease confined right side heart.
