Fe2O3 particles encapsulated inside aligned CNx nanotubes

摘要: Aligned CNx nanotubes filled with Fe2O3 particles were synthesized through a single pyrolysis reaction of acetonitrile and Fe2O3/SiO2 catalyst at 900 °C under Ar2 flow. The number spacing the encapsulated inside controlled by adjusting amount time feeding. chemical composition atomic structure nanocapsulates investigated using combined techniques high-resolution electron microscopy, energy loss spectroscopy (EELS), elemental mapping. It was found that doped nitrogen atoms, which mainly pyridine-like, bonded two carbon atoms within graphene sheets, giving rise to π*-type peak around 399 eV in EELS spectra.
