摘要: The development of high performance natural fiber composites (NFC) in the last few decades saw a significant growth industries as well academia. These reinforced exhibit numerous advantages such mechanical properties, low weight, cost, density, specific good thermal and acoustic insulating properties when compared with other composites. There has been dramatic increase use fibers for based on thermoplastics polymers polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE). A large number including flax, hemp, jute, kenaf, sisal are being used this purpose. In these composites, incompatibility between polymer matrix tendency to form aggregates two important issues. Additionally, poor dimensional stability due moisture absorption. Some issues/problems can be solved by coupling agents, compatibilizer treatments using peroxide, permanganate, plasma.
