Landscape assessment of engineered and man-made slopes

摘要: There is a broad consensus in society that landscape an important asset needs to be protected. In recent decades, although substantial efforts have been invested better understanding and describing landscape, the inclusion of values daily decision making mining civil engineering fields relatively new notion. this paper, broadening scope traditional slope design proposed (i.e. create stable economic slopes or retaining walls) take account environmental aesthetic values. For purpose indirect assessment method developed, based on quantitatively rating aspects such as morphology, colour distribution vegetation, so produce score for quality.
