摘要: Magnesium may be important in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease and sudden death. To study role magnesium, 400 high risk individuals were asked to volunteer either for a magnesium-rich diet (group A, 206) or our usual B, 194) 10 years randomized fashion. The age groups between 25 63 majority (374) them males. At entry study, age, sex, incidence hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, smoking, diuretic therapy comparable. Dietary magnesium intake group A (1,142 +/- 233 mg/day) was higher than B (418 105 mg/day). Total complications (59; 28.6%) significantly (p less 0.001) compared (117; 60.3%). Sudden deaths one half times more common A. mortality (22; 10.7%) 0.01) (34; 18.0%). greater number increased subjects consistent with hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia factors patients. Mean serum levels participants lowered mean level who administered diet. It is possible that dietary association general effects nutritious can offer protection against cardiovascular among high-risk predisposed disease.
