摘要: Overhead activities must utilize all links in the kinetic chain, framework for describing development and transfer of energy throughout body, effectively order to produce optimal output. The scapula is a critical link within chain as it junction between central body segments arm. However, scapular muscle alteration or dysfunction can lead overuse shoulder injuries athletes. Clinicians need understand anatomical physiological mechanisms specific function how properly evaluate scapular-based recommend most appropriate treatment. A comprehensive approach which entails multifaceted rehabilitation program aimed at not only restoring stability strength but also reeducating athlete on proper activation patterns utilizing correctly result positive clinical outcomes.
