摘要: The classic idea that arterial narrowing, called vasospasm (VSP), represents the hallmark of secondary injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage, has been challenged. more complex and pleiotropic pathophysiological repercussions from irruption blood into layers go beyond ascribed VSP. Putting adjectives in front this term, such as “symptomatic,” “microdialytic,” or “angiographic” VSP, is misleading. Delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI) a better term but remains restrictive to severe hypoperfusive neglects oligemia, edema, metabolic nonischemic injuries. In recognition these issues, international conference on VSP integrated “neurovascular events” its name (www.vasospasm2013.com) multidisciplinary research group was formed 2010 study subgroups DCI/VSP their respective significance.
