摘要: Aims. We investigate the surface composition of Centaurs and Trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) to get constraints on formation evolution this population. Methods. report visible near-infrared spectroscopic observations Plutino 55638 (2002 VE 5 ) obtained at VLT-ESO. The model has been computed using two types radiative transfer models considering geographical intimate mixtures different materials. results have compared with those for having spectra available in literature. whole sample 32 analyzed, particular presence ices investigated relation their characteristics (taxonomic groups), dynamical properties object sizes. Results. main result is clear detection H 2 O CH 3 OH (or a similar molecule) 55638. analysis shows that there are no obvious trends, but larger seem be icier. BB group also seems show more ice content surface, whereas RR may contain organic material.
