摘要: PURPOSE To evaluate outcomes and factors associated with surgical failure in patients who underwent combined phacoemulsification Ahmed glaucoma valve (AGV) implantation. METHODS This retrospective longitudinal study enrolled 40 eyes (38 patients) that AGV Visual acuity, intraocular pressure (IOP), number of antiglaucoma medications were evaluated preoperatively postoperatively. Complete success was defined as a last follow-up IOP 6 to 21 mmHg without medication, qualified an >21 or <6 mmHg. RESULTS The mean period 18 ± 10 months. Preoperative diagnoses chronic angle closure (35.0%), neovascular (22.5%), uveitic (17.5%), primary open-angle (15.0%), other (10.0%). decreased from 30.5 8.7 14.5 3.7 at the visit (p < 0.001). Treatment classified (45%), complete 15 (37.5%), seven (17.5%). Twenty-two (55%) showed improvement visual acuity. most common postoperative complication transient hypertensive phase (five eyes, 12.5%). Tube-iris touch (hazard ratio, 8.615; p = 0.008). CONCLUSIONS Combined implantation is effective safe option for refractory cataract. Postoperative tube-iris indicator poor prognosis.
