摘要: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is characterized by postural instability and gait impairment. Verbal instructions can reduce sway improve performance in PD. For gait, this evidence limited to unobstructed straight-path walking. As falls PD often occur when turning, the purpose of thesis was determine if benefit turning population. Twelve individuals with performed two walking tasks (normal walking, a 180 degree turn) under four instruction conditions (no instruction, take big steps, make larger trunk movements, focus on end and/or turn point). Task duration yaw roll were calculated. In general, results demonstrated that steps improved for both compared providing no or externally based instruction. These suggest related step amplitude may facilitate
